Cap-and-Gown ‘Porch’ Sessions are happening soon!

It’s time to honor our Seniors - and give them a reason to wear that cap and gown on what was to be their graduation day! And while we’re at it, we’ll take some photos of your family as well!

In April, Westminster resident and local photographer, Jared Wilson (that’s me), cruised around the neighborhoods of the Westminster area to capture family ‘Porch’ portraits on our last ‘official’ stay-at-home day! It was a HUGE SUCCESS! So now, I’m doing it again, with a little twist… You see, my oldest is a Senior at Broomfield High School and I want to remember this moment, and her graduation day, even if she won’t be walking across the stage to get her diploma that day. And as I thought about this, and mentioned it to her, she said ‘ALL my friends would want to do this!’ And so, this idea was born…

Here are the dates for Cap-and-Gown ‘Porch’ sessions:

Horizon - SOLD OUT - Monday, May 11th
Erie - SOLD OUT - Tuesday, May 12th
Mountain Range - SOLD OUT - Wednesday, May 13th
Broomfield SOLD OUT - Saturday, May 16th
Monarch High School Grads - Sunday, May 17th
Standley Lake High School Grads - Tuesday, May 19th
Holy Family High School Grads - Thursday, May 21st
Jefferson Academy Grads, Friday, May 22nd

The Details:
10-15 minute porch sessions at your home, capturing approximately 30 images for you
Jared will use a long lens from the front yard, sidewalk, or street to maintain social distancing rules
Pay-what-you-like! (Many have asked about this, so I’ll tell you that the average has been $100)
10% of money raised will be donated to Von Sacks Covid, providing 580,000 meals to children in need
You’ll be able to download the digital images in high resolution to do with as you wish
Prints will also be available for purchase

Don’t have a Cap and Gown? - I have two you can wear, but they’re both BLUE
Also, get your family on the porch too if you like!
Decorate? Props? Totally up to you!
Be ready when Jared gets there - it will be quick and fun - and then he’ll be off to the next house!
